To develop Rouleaux Pack‘s business abroad and especially in Africa, an association named Formines was set up in May 2015. The aim is to offer qualification-based training to technicians in the mining industry, so that they can perfect their skills in their area of expertise or extend their knowledge to progress in their careers in mining companies.
With about a dozen members, small, medium and intermediate-sized firms that are suppliers of the mining sector, FORMINES offers places for trainees with salaried employee status at the École des Mines/ISTP in Saint-Étienne and in the association’s member companies. When they go back to their jobs in Africa, the technicians who complete the training know the addresses of all the good suppliers…
